Job Title: CNC Maintenance Technician
Job Description
Join our maintenance team as a Maintenance Technician, where you will be responsible for performing all maintenance and preventive maintenance (PM) on machinery. Work closely with our dynamic team to ensure the smooth operation of our equipment.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and evaluate mechanical malfunctions for repair planning.
- Perform a wide range of repairs on 4-axis Horizontal CNC equipment, including mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Read and interpret hydraulic and mechanical blueprints.
- Handle machine geometry adjustments and rebuilds to OEM specifications.
- Develop and implement predictive maintenance programs.
- Conduct annual asset performance evaluations.
- Maintain facility equipment such as compressors, cranes, and hydraulic pumps.
- Create work orders for repair items and document equipment repairs.
- Collaborate with the engineering department to reverse engineer components as needed.
- Communicate with and utilize outside services for troubleshooting, project assistance, and technical resources.
- Support, assist, and train other maintenance personnel under the department supervisor's direction.
- Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment and report unusual conditions to the supervisor.
- Adhere to OSHA regulations and maintain cleanliness of the work area.
Essential Skills
- Preventative maintenance on CNC machines, including filters, gases, oils, and standard PM schedules.
- Maintain and troubleshoot CNC Mill Machines, specifically 4-axis horizontal Mills.
- Experience with HMI interfacing on Fanuc Controls, including swapping out HMI drives and troubleshooting faults.
- Ability to identify ladder and parameters to reset machines.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Electrical troubleshooting up to 480V, including disconnecting wires.
- Experience with OKK CNC’s (800,1000,1250).
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Hydraulic troubleshooting and blueprint reading.
- Facility maintenance experience.

Work Environment
Work in a facility with dim lighting and minimal noise. The machines are newer, but the parts machined are large. Dress code includes oil-resistant shoes or steel toes, no cutoffs, hats worn forward only, and no loose clothing. Enjoy a 30-minute unpaid lunch and a paid 20-minute break.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fraser, Michigan.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
