HRIS Specialist - ADP

Position Summary
The HRIS Specialist will support the HRIS Manager in administering HR software for a workforce of 12,000+ employees. This role involves handling day-to-day administrative and operational support to the HRIS team and providing excellent service to employees. The Specialist tracks project tasks and software changes, monitors software releases and roadmaps, documents system configuration and workflows, and assists with data cleaning efforts.
The ideal candidate will have excellent time and documentation skills, experience tracking and prioritizing multiple projects, and is committed to improving the employee experience.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties (specifics about the job and day-to-day responsibilities)
- Coordinate project timelines, meetings, tasks, and deadlines for HRIS initiatives.
- Track progress and follow up on action items to ensure timely completion.
- Create and maintain documentation on system configuration, workflows, and process improvements.
- Monitor and communicate upcoming software releases and roadmaps.
- Generate basic reports as requested
- Assist and document data auditing and cleaning efforts.
- Collects employee feedback and reports key themes to the HRIS team.
- Supports software-related change initiatives, such as training and communication.
- Stays current with HR technology and emerging trends.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration or related field preferred, or a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Human Resources or a related field.
- Strong understanding of project management and technical documentation.
- Familiarity with HR processes and HRIS systems (ADP Lyric REQUIRED)
- Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex information to employees in a clear and accessible way.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
- Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), project tracking and knowledge-base tools.
