In this position
The EEHW In-Vehicle Infotainment Module Supervisor is responsible for leading the team that engineers and launches the Enhanced Central Gateway (ECG) and Sync Modules. The functionality that is supported by this activity/position could include graphics displays, feature configuration, feature information, message transfer to name a few. The In-Vehicle Infotainment Electronics Module supervisor is responsible for specifying the design, overseeing the development, integration and testing associated with the identified module functional scope. This supervisor needs to ensure that the team achieves all product deliverables necessary to deliver a robust design solution, from core design to application to a program, with quality, to all targeted vehicle programs.

Minimum
- BS EE/ME or equivalent required
- 5+ Years of Electrical / Electronics Design & Release and Core development experience
- Experience working with global teams
- Strong partnership skills, with demonstrated ability to co-create solutions with other organizations
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Familiar with quality tools including FMEAs, 8Ds, 3L5W
- Familiarity with the following technical skills: (vehicle CAN communications, electronic module packaging, understanding vehicle schematics)

- Experience in Ford's WERS release process/AVBOM/AIMS/FEDE/GPDS/Integrator systems Experience with automotive vehicle launches

What you'll do
- Manage the HW and Program Engineering team for the ECG and Sync modules.
- Work with suppliers and in house team to develop design concepts and define the costs that support the application both electrically and mechanically
- Lead/Support Team of Four meetings
- Support team to gain approval from the program for all tooling, piece costs, and ED&T associated with ECG and Sync.
- FEDEBOM/WERS release final designs for all ECG and Sync.
- Lead the completion of all component FMA documentation including DFMEA, CPAs and SCCAFs
- Establish required SDS requirements and develop FEDE DVP for each program and upload test results
- Facilitate and work with Suppliers and Electrical Technical Specialists to Conduct Module Worst Case Circuit Analysis and module component DVP&R
- Support Engineering Lead on TDRs prior to key program milestone events (FDJ, DCV, PEC, FEC)
- Meet GPDS milestone deliverables ( . TDJ, FDJ, DCV, TT, PP, MP1, MP2)
- Support FDJ, DCV Breadboard development and vehicle level testing
- Work with ASO to develop and provide Compliance Demonstration Plan/Report CDPR for FMVSS regulatory requirements
- Manage Interface with program and interfacing teams
- Interact with Purchasing and Suppliers to complete ESOW's and SOBA/CPA's Tof4
- Interface cross functionally with Software, Systems and Program Engineering across all CGEA1.3, FNV2/3 and FVN4 vehicle architectures
- Support team interfaces with vehicle architecture to package all modules in a suitable location
- Support team in work with VO to ensure component package meets assembly and ergonomic targets
- Manage/support Interaction with EDS (wiring) team to ensure proper wire size and connections to meet system volt drop and thermal requirements
- Support team and work with FCSD to ensure proper serviceability of components
- Review and edit Owner and Workshop manuals
- Manage component quality and efficient design
- Perform regular reviews of current production quality and work with supplier and PVT teams to improve warranty R/1000 and CPU trends
- Provide launch support and address Voice of the Customer Fleet issues to closure
- Monitor JIRA, AIMs and DURIS and provide corrective action resolution
- Lead TVM efforts to implement agreed cost reduction changes
