Salary Range: $89,000 - $135,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Lead and manage internal and external quality audits, ensuring corrective actions are identified and implemented effectively.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes to enhance product quality and reduce defects.
• Oversee root cause analysis and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for non-conformances and customer complaints.
• Manage and develop the quality team, providing training and leadership to foster a culture of quality awareness.
• Establish and monitor key quality metrics and performance indicators, reporting on trends and driving data-driven decisions.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to integrate quality requirements throughout the product lifecycle.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in implementing and maintaining quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
• Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, FMEA, and root cause analysis.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with experience managing quality teams and driving continuous improvement.
• ASQ Certification (e.g., Certified Quality Manager/Organizational Excellence, Certified Quality Engineer) highly preferred.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
• Lead Auditor certification for ISO 9001 or relevant industry standards (e.g., AS9100, IATF 16949)
• Experience with advanced statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) or data visualization tools
• Direct experience in a highly regulated manufacturing sector (e.g., medical devices, aerospace, automotive)
• Proficiency with specific Quality Management System (QMS) software platforms
