Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A part-time position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in pediatrics within a K-12 school setting located in Lawrence, MI. This is an 8-week contract role starting December 1st, ideal for professionals seeking a focused caseload and flexible schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language services primarily to elementary students.
- Manage a caseload of approximately 43 students, mainly through small group sessions and some consultative services.
- Maintain accurate case notes documenting therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with educational professionals to support students communication development.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) preferred.
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) is an asset.
- Knowledge and skills relevant to school-based speech-language pathology services.
- Ability to deliver effective therapy for diverse student needs.
