Key Responsibilities

• Analyze customer RFQs, blueprints, and technical specifications to understand project requirements.
• Calculate material, labor, and overhead costs, collaborating with production and engineering departments.
• Develop competitive pricing strategies and margins to maximize profitability while securing orders.
• Prepare and submit accurate, detailed, and timely proposals/quotes to customers.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and production teams to ensure quote feasibility and accuracy.
• Maintain comprehensive records of all quotes, pricing data, and customer communications.
• Follow up on submitted quotes to track status, gather feedback, and address customer inquiries.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing quoting or sales support role.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills for cost estimation and pricing.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and quoting software.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for internal and external stakeholders.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in all quoting activities.

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency with advanced ERP/CRM functionalities (e.g., SAP, Salesforce).
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
• Ability to interpret basic engineering drawings or CAD models.
• Experience with cost accounting principles or financial analysis.
