Senior Product Data Analyst

Job Summary The Senior Product Data Analyst plays a critical role in enabling accurate, scalable, and actionable product data that supports business growth, customer experience, and operational efficiency. This role partners closely with the product data team and cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure product data is governed, high‑quality, and optimized for analytics and decision‑making. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise and problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities Product Data Set ‑Up & Maintenance Support the management and prioritization of the product data intake funnel. Build and maintain Python scripts that transform and validate product catalogs. Ensure accurate and timely setup of new products, ongoing maintenance, and product changes across systems. Partner with upstream teams to validate requirements and resolve data issues impacting product launches or updates. Data Governance & Quality Apply and enforce product data governance standards and definitions. Monitor data quality and proactively identify issues, partnering with technical teams to implement automated checks, alerts, and controls. Perform root‑cause analysis on data quality issues and recommend sustainable solutions. Systems & Process Optimization Support system implementations, enhancements, and process improvements related to product data management. Identify opportunities to streamline or automate product data setup and maintenance to improve efficiency and scalability. Collaborate with engineering and data platform teams on data modeling and integration efforts. Cross ‑Functional Collaboration Work closely with product management, pricing, engineering, supply chain, and analytics teams to ensure product data aligns with governance standards and business needs. Act as a subject‑matter expert on product data structures, metrics, and usage. Analytics & Reporting Develop and maintain product‑related datasets, dashboards, and reports to support operational and strategic decision‑making. Support scenario modeling, simulations, and ad‑hoc analyses for new products, pricing strategies, and business initiatives. Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Mentorship & Team Contribution Serve as a senior individual contributor, mentoring junior analysts and promoting best practices in data management and analytics. Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and accountability within the product data team. Qualifications Required 5+ years of experience in data analytics, data management, product management/operations, or a related field. Proficiency in writing Python scripts for data transformation, validation, and automation in complex datasets. Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and ETL processes. Experience supporting cross‑functional, data‑driven initiatives in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills. Preferred Experience working in B2B and/or B2C product environments. Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational data. Familiarity with product information management (PIM), ERP, or similar enterprise systems. Experience supporting product lifecycle management and product analytics use cases. Who We Hire?
