Job Overview:

Priced Right Auto is looking for an Automotive Technician! Priced Right Auto is a very fast paced, efficient service center located in Nunica MI. Our customer service and parts/job distribution process allows for maximum efficiency for our technicians. We provide the best quality in house tools and equipment the industry has to offer, including a new facility with all new equipment in the last 2 years. We are looking for an experienced technician with full diagnostic capability, suspension/steering, brakes, heating/cooling, and the ability to remove and replace drivetrain components efficiently. We have the best pay plans in the industry with high guarantees and the opportunity to earn above and beyond the guarantee. With 100+ car inventory and a growing customer base, there is no shortage of work for a future flat rate technician here.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair a variety of automotive issues, including electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems
• Perform routine maintenance services such as brakes, suspension, steering, hvac, tune ups, etc.
• Use computer diagnostic equipment to identify problems and perform software updates
• Drivetrain replacement or rebuilding (no transmissions)
• Keep accurate records of all repairs and services performed on vehicles
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers to explain repairs needed and recommend additional services as appropriate
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
• Stay up-to-date on the latest automotive technologies and techniques through ongoing training and education

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an automotive technician training program or equivalent experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to use computer diagnostic equipment and follow technical manuals
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods of time
