Salary Range: $61,000 - $93,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical malfunctions in machinery, control systems, and facility infrastructure.
• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical components to ensure optimal operation and minimize downtime.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals for installation and repair.
• Ensure all electrical work adheres to safety codes (e.g., NEC, OSHA) and company regulations.
• Calibrate and test electrical instruments, sensors, and control devices.
• Document all maintenance, repair, and installation activities accurately.

Recommended Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician certification or equivalent provincial/state license.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in industrial electrical maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in troubleshooting, repairing, and installing PLCs, motor controls, VFDs, and other industrial electrical equipment.
• Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Comprehensive understanding and adherence to safety standards, including LOTO procedures and NFPA 70E.
• Experience with electrical preventative maintenance programs and calibration of instrumentation.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLC programming and modification (beyond troubleshooting)
• Familiarity with industrial robotics or vision systems
• Certification in NFPA 70E / Arc Flash safety
• Proficiency in troubleshooting industrial network protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet)
