Landscape Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily landscape maintenance operations, including bed maintenance, shrub and tree trimming, and landscape enhancement.
• Supervise and ensure proper chemical application when applying to landscape beds
• Lead, train, and mentor grounds crew members, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork
• Conduct thorough site inspections before and after services to maintain high standards
• Identify and address plant disease and pest issues, ensuring appropriate treatment
• Manage equipment, trailers, and vehicle loading to streamline operations
• Maintain equipment and enforce OSHA safety compliance and company policies
• Assist with scheduling, timesheets, and job documentation for organized operations
• Support snow operations as needed to ensure year-round service continuity

Qualifications

• Experience leading and coordinating teams to achieve operational goals
• Grounds maintenance experience required
• State applicator license (Core, 3A, 3B, 6) preferred
• Strong knowledge of plant health and chemical programs
• Ability to conduct site inspections and uphold high service standards
• Organizational and leadership skills to mentor and hold crews accountable
• Experience managing equipment logistics preferred
• Supervisory experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license (ability to obtain chauffeur license required)

Compensation

$23 - $27 per hour, based on experience
