Radiologic Technologist Job Details

• Location: Lansing, MI 48912 (Michigan healthcare jobs)
• Setting: Outpatient imaging center (Inpatient experience preferred)
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (September 22, 2025 – December 22, 2025)
• Shift: Day shifts, 5x8-hour (07:00 – 15:30), Monday through Friday (no weekends)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2320-$2380
• Patient Age Group: Adults and Geriatrics
• Orientation: 40 hours
• Scrub Color: Wine

Mammography Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist or Radiologic Technologist
• Active ARRT (R) and ARRT (M) certifications required
• BLS certification (AHA preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system preferred
• Strong knowledge of digital quality assurance, isolation precautions, radiation safety, and universal precautions/core measures
• Ability to perform outpatient X-ray procedures

Key Responsibilities for Mammography Tech

• Perform 3D and digital mammography, including screening and diagnostic mammograms
• Conduct outpatient X-ray exams as needed
• Ensure compliance with digital quality assurance and radiation safety protocols
• Follow isolation and universal precautions to maintain patient and staff safety
• Accurately document procedures and patient information using EPIC (training provided)
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to adults and geriatric patients
• Collaborate with a supportive healthcare team; rotating morning shifts may apply based on facility needs
