As an intern at Stryker, you will:​ ​ + Apply classroom knowledge and gain experience in a fast-paced and growing industry setting​ + Implement new ideas, be constantly challenged, and develop your skills​ + Network with key/high-level stakeholders and leaders of the business​ + Be a part of an innovative team and culture​ ​ **Opportunities Available** ​ ​ **As a Clinical intern at Stryker, you will:** ​​ + Work cross functionally with different departments including R&D Engineering, Project Management, Health Care Solutions, Marketing, and Regulatory Affairs to assist in clinical research programs and develop a broad understanding of the regulated clinical research landscape​ + Perform clinical intelligence activities to ensure a thorough understanding of available treatment options and clinical studies​​ + Accompany Clinical Research Associate to monitor clinical data at clinical investigative sites ​ + Prepare literature review summaries for comprehensive evaluation of current clinical outcomes in recent published trials​ + Shadow Clinical Research Associates at cross functional team meetings to gain exposure to the collaborative development process associated with executing a clinical trial.​ ​ Majors Targeted: Biomedical Engineering; Biology; Business - General ; Business Analytics; Data Science; Computer Science; Mathematics; Statistics; Clinical Affairs; Healthcare; Project Management; Materials Science; Chemical Engineering **What You Need** ​​ + Currently working on completion of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in related field or equivalent; we will only consider students who plan to be enrolled in a degree-seeking program after the summer.​ + Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above; must be the case at the date of hire and will be verified during background check in the spring​ + Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and not require employment-based sponsorship now or in the future.​ + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. ​ + Strong interpersonal skills.​ + Ability to exercise independent judgment and proven leadership and business acumen skills. ​ + Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines. ​ + Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm. ​ + Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.​ + Proficient on basic computer programs: Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint Pay rate will not be below any applicable local minimum wage rates.
