A manufacturing company in Jonesville is seeking a Winder Operator to set up and operate tube winder equipment. This is a 1st shift opportunity in a very clean and friendly work environment.

Winder Operator Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $18.65 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift ( Monday through Friday )

Monday-Thursday 6:15AM-3:00PM, Friday 6:15AM-11:15AM.

• Set up, operate, and run the tube winder according to customer specifications
• Select required paper materials based on customer orders
• Gather appropriate tooling and job-specific supplies
• Lift paper rolls from racks and load them onto the machine
• Adjust the machine for proper glue application
• Monitor product quality throughout the production run
• Move completed orders to the next department

Winder Operator Qualifications:

• Must understand and demonstrate proficiency with fractions and their decimal equivalents.
• Ability to accurately measure materials using calipers and a tape measure.
• Strong mathematical skills.
• Ability to distinguish between colors and different materials.
• HS Diploma/GED Required.
• Strong work history.
• Manufacturing experience.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift paper rolls weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to move cartons and skids of tubes of varying weights to the next production stage.
