Sales & Account Manager

We are seeking an entry-level Sales & Account Manager who is eager to grow within the organization. The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Japanese (fluent in speaking, reading, and writing) and motivated to build a career in sales and account management. While prior experience is a plus, we are open to candidates who are early in their careers and ready to learn.

• Starting Salary: $60,000/yr

• Schedule: Hybrid (3 days in office / 2 days remote after 90 days

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct market research to gather information on suppliers, competitors, and potential customers.

• Manage customer accounts by maintaining strong relationships, providing ongoing support, and ensuring satisfaction.

• Negotiate orders with customers and vendors, including pricing, allocation, and lead times.

• Monitor order entry, outstanding orders, inventory, and delivery schedules.

• Coordinate logistics and material processing.

• Resolve quality issues in collaboration with customers, suppliers, processors, and insurance providers.

• Identify and develop new business opportunities.

• Collaborate with Sales and Inside Sales teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.

• Prepare weekly and monthly reports as required by management.

• Perform other duties as assigned; responsibilities may change with or without notice.

Qualifications (Preferred but not required):

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field.

• 1+ year of sales or account management experience.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

• Familiarity with ERP systems.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:
This position operates in a professional office setting using standard office equipment. The employee may occasionally be required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle objects, reach with arms, climb stairs, talk, or hear. Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 20 pounds.

Position Type & Schedule:

• Full-time, non-exempt position.

• Standard hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

• Occasional extended hours or weekend work may be required.

Travel:

• Primarily local during the business day.

• Occasional out-of-area and overnight travel may be required.
