We’re expanding our team and looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Entry-Level Administrative Assistant who’s eager to gain hands-on accounting experience while supporting IT and customer service operations.

Position Overview

This role combines traditional accounting duties with exposure to IT systems and client-facing support. It’s a great opportunity for someone starting their accounting career who enjoys variety in their work, problem-solving, and learning new technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting Functions

• Perform bank reconciliations and manage online banking activities


• Assist with financial statement review and reporting


• Manage Accounts Receivable: invoicing, payments, and collections


• Support Accounts Payable: purchasing, payment reviews, and processing checks/ACH payments


• Maintain accurate records, filing, and general correspondence

Administrative & Customer Support

• Answer phones and assist clients with billing or accounting inquiries


• Support HR functions such as benefits coordination and time tracking review


• Help maintain internal job descriptions and documentation


• Provide general office and administrative support

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance , or related field (or equivalent experience)


• Bookkeeping experience preferred but not required


• Familiarity with Sage 50 (Peachtree) , Microsoft Excel , and Word


• Strong interest in IT , technology , and customer service


• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills


• Ability to learn quickly, multitask, and work independently


• Positive, team-oriented attitude and a desire to grow within the company
