Position Overview

The Machinist will be responsible for producing precision parts using a variety of manual and CNC equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience with manual machining processes and basic CNC operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual lathes , vertical mills , and surface grinders.

• Operate and program TRAK K3 EMX 2-axis CNC mills.

• Interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering drawings.

• Inspect parts using precision measuring tools to ensure accuracy and quality.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Perform routine maintenance on machines.

• Collaborate with engineering and assembly teams to support production needs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a machinist in a manufacturing environment.

• Proficiency in operating and setting up:

  • Manual lathes

  • Manual vertical mills

  • Manual surface grinders

  • TRAK K3 EMX 2-axis CNC mills

• Strong blueprint reading and mechanical aptitude.

• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, indicators).

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• A flexible and/or part-time position is an option.
