We are looking for a seasoned Carpenter to join our team here at FLEX. This is a reliable, year-round position that includes overtime. This position requires an individual that is a self-starter, self-motivated, and can work with minimal supervision.

Job Responsibilities
Responsible for assembling prefabricated structures both locally and throughout the United States.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Proficiency with computers and smart phones.
• Extensive knowledge of and the ability to utilize finishing carpentry tools, materials, and techniques efficiently and safely.
• Professionalism and the ability to effectively interact with coworkers, and supervisors.
• Ability to problem solve, improvise, and trouble shoot on the spot.
• Exceptional math skills and the capability to read a tape measure.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Heavy lifting of products/materials/tools, both loading and unloading trucks. Ability to frequently walk, bend, kneel, reach, and climb.
• The ability to use an array of hand tools safely and effectively.
• The ability to safely lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, kneel, and squat for 8 - 10 hours at a time.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• 1+ years of experience in carpentry, construction, or related field.
• Exceptional math and tape measuring skills.
• Extrusion knowledge is a plus but not necessary.
