Field Installation Supervisor

Summary: The position will engage across all functions of the company and have exposure to the entire installation process. The ideal candidate is interested in traveling to customer sites for extended periods of time and possesses strong analytical and organizational skills. Successful employees invite input from others and listen and react intellectually.

Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Lead and coordinate the installation of systems and equipment, ensuring alignment with the project specifications and timelines.
• Evaluate installation sites to determine requirements, potential challenges, and safety compliance.
• Perform regular inspections and quality checks on installations to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and customers to provide updates and resolve issues that arise during installation.
• Good mechanical knowledge and welding experience.
• Maintain accurate records of installation activities, including materials and labor hours.
• Collaborating with the operations, accounting, sales, and engineering to gather the information needed to complete the work.
• Using a variety of computer programs including Microsoft Office products and the company’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) software to create and edit process documentation such as purchase orders and bill of materials.

• Recommending improvements that lower costs and/or increase production.

  
  

  This is a field installation supervisor position, and the qualified applicant will be required to travel frequently as a condition of employment. Travel is typically to and from job sites throughout the contiguous United States, however, travel outside of the country is sometimes required.

Qualifications:

• Strong academic credentials: High school diploma required.
• Minimum 2-4 years’ experience.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Demonstrates a high level of cooperation, flexibility, and willingness to help the team succeed.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, ambiguous working environment.
• Ability to obtain a Passport.
