Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with certification of clinical competence (CCC) and school-based SLP credentials to support K-5 students within a full-time, contracted position. The role is based in Sterling Heights, MI, serving a caseload of approximately 65 students across grades K-5 in a K-12 school setting. The contract spans the normal school year.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Speech-Language Pathologist certification with CCC
• Valid school-based SLP licensure
• Experience supporting children in early elementary grades (K-5)
• Strong ability to manage and prioritize a caseload of 65 students
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with educators and families

Location:

• Sterling Heights, Michigan

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students in grades K-5
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting speech and language goals
• Provide direct, evidence-based therapy sessions to students on caseload
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to monitor progress and adjust strategies
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies and regulatory standards
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to student support plans
