Salary Range: $52,000 - $79,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the fabrication team.
• Ensure all fabricated components meet quality standards and engineering specifications.
• Monitor production schedules and allocate resources to achieve production targets.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and best practices within the fabrication area.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on fabrication machinery and equipment.
• Train and mentor team members on new techniques, equipment operation, and safety procedures.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

Recommended Qualifications

• Extensive experience (5+ years preferred) in various fabrication processes (welding, cutting, forming).
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience within a manufacturing or fabrication setting.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of quality control standards, material properties, and safety procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot technical issues and optimize fabrication workflows.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CAD/CAM software for design review and programming.
• Certifications in advanced welding techniques or inspection (e.g., CWI, NDT).
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Background in tool and die making or precision machining.
