Certified Nursing Assistant - Medical Unit - Nights
Provides basic patient care under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates individual patient care within the scope of his/her training and experience. Why Work at Cheyenne Regional?

Here is What You Will Be Doing:
- Provides direct patient care including but not limited to assistance with bathing, eating, dressing, and walking patients.
- Keeps record of care given.
- Takes vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiratory rate, and pulse oximetry) and performs adult bedside blood glucose monitoring when appropriate.
- Turns and repositions patients to prevent breakdown of their skin.
- Changes bed linens as necessary.
- Transports patients and equipment as needed within the facility.
- Monitors patients and reports any variances to the RN for further assessment.
- Works collaboratively with the RN in charge to meet physicians, coworkers, management and other department's needs.
- Participates in bedside shift report.
- Provides unit support as needed, which may include answering and relaying patient calls, accepting and relaying other communications, performing clerical tasks, completing and maintaining reports and records, or ordering/stocking supplies.

Here is What You Need:
- Current Wyoming Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license from the Wyoming State Board of Nursing
- 14 Days: Cheyenne Regional AHA RQI within fourteen (14) calendar days of start date
Nice to Have:
- Prior acute care experience
- Six (6) or more months of experience as a CNA
