Hybrid - 2 days per week on site (Wednesday's are a mandatory "in office" day.)
We are seeking a seasoned IT Business Analyst to lead analysis and requirements development for mission-critical enterprise applications. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders and technical teams to understand business needs, analyze data, and recommend process improvements. The analyst will play a key role in project planning, RFP development, cost estimation, impact analysis, and testing strategy implementation. Acting as a liaison to vendors and system owners, this position ensures IT solutions align with organizational goals and supports enterprise-wide initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead requirements gathering, process modeling, and documentation for complex IT projects.
· Develop RFP narratives, estimate project costs, and establish actionable project plans.
· Conduct impact analysis, implement test strategies, and coordinate quality assurance activities.
· Serve as a primary liaison between business teams, technical staff, and external vendors.
· Participate in enterprise-wide IT initiatives as required.
· Identify risks and escalate issues proactively to ensure project success.
· Analyze current business processes and recommend improvements for efficiency and effectiveness.
· Produce project artifacts, including use cases, sequence diagrams, swim lanes, and process flows.
· Organize requirement capture activities and ensure alignment with organizational strategic objectives.
· Facilitate workshops and presentations for technical and non-technical audiences.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Expertise in business analysis methodologies, process modeling, and IT project planning.
· Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile, CMMI, or other industry-standard methodologies.
· Experienced in documenting business, functional, and technical requirements.
· Proficient in project estimation, planning, and forecasting.
· Ability to create detailed project analysis documentation.
· Advanced proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and Visio.
· Skilled in test planning, test case development, and QA coordination.
· Strong oral and written communication skills; capable of presenting to stakeholders at all levels.
· Ability to build and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
· Capable of analyzing complex business problems, evaluating alternatives, and implementing effective solutions.
Education:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT Project Management, Mathematics, or a related field preferred.
