Schedule: This is a 1st shift position. Hours are Monday to Friday 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM.

Provide administrative and clerical support for the Aerospace Test Facilities. This role supports daily operations through documentation coordination reporting and communication activities while also assisting with limited test and equipment-related tasks under the direction of your supervisor.

Typical Background and Experience
-
Candidates should possess an associate degree from an accredited institution and a minimum of five years of administrative or office support experience. Prior experience in an engineering laboratory or technical environment is preferred. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship and live within a 50-mile radius of Jackson Michigan.

Position Summary
-
This position supports engineers managers and professionals within the Aerospace Test Engineering Department. The role is primarily administrative and includes responsibility for schedules correspondence reports records management database maintenance and meeting coordination.
The position also performs limited test-related support tasks such as assisting with documentation data entry sample tracking and coordination of basic test activities. Mechanical responsibilities are secondary and performed under direct guidance.
Key Responsibilities

Provide administrative technology support using Microsoft Office applications and department systems. Prepare reports presentations correspondence and metrics. Maintain files databases SharePoint content and internal webpages.

+ Assist with test documentation data entry and recordkeeping. Perform basic assistance with test setup preparation and documentation as directed. Maintain organized test records and assist engineering staff as needed.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities

Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems. Attention to detail and discretion when handling confidential information. Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort working in a laboratory or test environment. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds on occasion.

This is a Contract position based out of Jackson, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.39 - $22.39/hr.
