Fashion Product Development Manager, Men's (Maternity Leave)
- Manage the development process from design concept to production approval.
- Collaborate with design, merchandise, and production teams to ensure product alignment with seasonal strategies.
- Manage product development calendars to meet key milestones.
- Oversee the sampling process, including prototype reviews and fit sessions.
- Partner with QA team to ensure products meet quality, performance, and compliance standards.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including Production, Sales, Marketing, and E-commerce, to support product launches.
- Provide product knowledge and technical insights to internal teams.
- Facilitate cross-departmental communication to resolve development challenges.
- Support the implementation and adoption of a new Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system during a key phase of rollout.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Design, Merchandising, Production, and IT) to ensure a smooth transition to the new PLM platform.
- Participate in testing, documentation, and training related to new system processes.
- Help identify workflow improvements as the business integrates PLM into daily operations.
- Maintain accurate data and product information within both legacy and new systems during the transition period.
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Product Development, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in product development within the fashion or apparel industry
- Strong understanding of the product development lifecycle, from concept to production
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office
- PLM experience as well as NetSuite is a plus
- Experience managing vendor relationships and sourcing materials
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and negotiation skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Passion for product innovation and a keen eye for design and quality
- Salary commensurate with experience
