WMCU is looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Member Service Representative at our Big Rapids Branch. Our Member Service Representatives are responsible for assisting members with their lending needs.
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- CU*Answers experience preferred.
- Lending experience preferred.
- Able to pass a background check.
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Must be detailed oriented.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist members with the loan application process.
- Pull credit reports and calculate the debt-to-income ratios.
- Prepare loan applications for underwriting and complete necessary documentation to fund or deny a request.
- Open memberships.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities and make appropriate recommendations of products and services to meet the financial needs of members.
- Develop and maintain an up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge of all credit union products and accounts and related policies and procedures.
