Job Description: Starlight Aerial Productions is seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Seasonal Drone Light Show Line Technicians to join our team. As a Line Technician, you will play a crucial role in the setup, maintenance, and logistics of our drone light shows, ensuring that each performance is executed flawlessly. This position offers a unique opportunity to work behind the scenes of some of the most innovative and visually stunning aerial displays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of drone light show equipment at various locations.
- Perform routine maintenance and checks on drones and related equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Coordinate logistics and handle the transportation of equipment to and from show sites.
- Work closely with the Pilot in Command to execute flight plans and ensure the smooth operation of drones during shows.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Report any technical issues or concerns to the Pilot in Command, Manager, and Director of Starlight Operations promptly.
- Be flexible with your schedule to accommodate the dynamic nature of show timings and locations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Technical aptitude and ability to handle electronic equipment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and follow instructions from the Pilot in Command.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel as needed and work in outdoor settings.
- FAA Part 107 certification is not required but encouraged.
- Must attend a mandatory 3-day Boot Camp in March or April 2024.
