Performance Manager

Reports to: Director of Performance
The Performance Manager acts as the artist liaison for Artivate at Levine and assists with Levine Music's professional performances, including Levine Presents, Levine Entertains, the Salon Series, Master Class Series, and Alumni Series. In addition, the Performance Manager provides administrative support to other members of the Education Team, in furtherance of Levine's mission.
About Artivate at Levine:
Artivate at Levine Music offers immersive and engaging learning experiences for people of all ages, integrating music with various disciplines such as language arts, STEM, art, and social studies, creating captivating and participatory events. Performances by teaching artists are ideal for school assemblies, libraries, community centers, and more.
Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
Artist liaison for Artivate at Levine
- Schedule artists for performances, workshops and/or residencies in schools, community centers, libraries and more.
- Assist with communications between presenter and artist to confirm performance date, time, technical requirements and any other necessary information.
- Use CRM to create contracts, invoices, and artist details for performances, workshop, and residencies.
- Communicate artist profile information with Levine Communications and Marketing for website maintenance.
- Build programming for presenters within given budgetary requirements and educational needs.
- Cultivate relationships with roster artists to properly communicate artists' needs for each program to presenters
- Cultivate relationships with schools, community centers, libraries, and more to book artist performances, workshops, and residencies.
- Work with development for grant opportunities.
Administrative responsibilities
- Provide administrative support for student recitals and competitions.
- Schedule Levine faculty artists for performances through Levine Entertains.
- Assist in contract creation for Levine Music's professional performance series.
- Assist the on-site production team with Levine's professional performances, including Levine Presents, Master Class Series, Alumni Series, and the Levine Gala.
- Provide administrative support for the Education Team as requested.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in education, administration, office management, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other relevant technology is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Familiarity with artist management and event production and a track record of success in building and maintaining professional relationships.
Salary range: $55,000-60,000
