Reports To: Parts and Service Director, Asst. Service Manager.
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Job Summary:
The Porter is responsible for the safe movement of customer vehicles. Cleaning the vehicles. Assisting Service staff as needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Move vehicles to and from service lanes, parking areas, and other dealership locations.
Clean vehicles inside and out, which includes vacuuming, washing, and ensuring that the cars are presentable for customers.
May also perform light maintenance tasks, such as checking fluid levels.
Keep the lot and service areas clean, safe, and well-organized.
Dispose of debris and maintain general dealership cleanliness.
Other job duties as assigned. Qualifications:
Education and Experience
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to work independently and follow verbal or written instructions.
- Basic communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to drive a manual transmission is a plus.
- Must be able to work outdoors in various weather condition
- Fast-paced dealership setting
