Assembly Worker

Position Title: Assembly Technician – Bumpers

Location: Sterling Heights, MI

Shifts Available:

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Mon–Fri, occasional weekends) – $15.50/hr
• 3rd Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM (Mon–Fri, occasional weekends) – $17.00/hr (includes $1.50 shift premium)

Our client is a leading automotive manufacturer dedicated to producing high-quality components. We are looking for motivated, detail-oriented Assembly Technicians to join our team in Sterling Heights, MI, specializing in bumper assembly.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble automotive bumpers following established processes and specifications
• Use hand tools and power tools to complete tasks accurately
• Perform quality checks to ensure all parts meet company standards
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production goals
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area

Qualifications

• Manufacturing or assembly experience preferred (training provided)
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills
• Reliable, punctual, and motivated

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in assembly, preferably in an automotive manufacturing environment. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques. Attention to detail and the ability to follow assembly instructions and specifications. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Flexibility to work occasional weekends based on production needs.
