Job Overview:
We are currently seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented individuals for our DS Prep and Extraction roles within our lab team. These positions offer a competitive hourly rate of $20.50, with the potential to transition from temporary to permanent status. The ideal candidates will have a science-related background and be comfortable working in a laboratory setting.

As a Tech II, you will play a crucial role in performing various laboratory procedures, ensuring they are executed according to prescribed processes and meet all accreditation and policy requirements. The work involves a standard weekday shift, and candidates should be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Principal Accountabilities:

· Perform laboratory procedures by following prescribed processes to achieve results that meet accreditation and policy requirements

· Carry out laboratory tasks with minimal supervision

· Perform maintenance duties under supervision as required

· Accurately document data in lab worksheets

· Utilize knowledge of chemical names and formulas to ensure proper handling and application of materials

· Operate basic laboratory equipment proficiently

Qualifications:

· Science-related background preferred (e.g., degree in biology, chemistry, or related field)

· Comfort and experience working in a lab setting

· Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed protocols

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Familiarity with laboratory equipment and basic laboratory procedures

· Ability to document and record data accurately

· Knowledge of chemical names and formulas is highly desirable
