APQP and Lean Process Engineer

Your Impact

• Standardize how we build: author procedures and documentation that lock in quality and reduce cost.
• Guide capital investments: provide technical support for equipment selection, justification, installation, and launch.
• Engineer production: design and refine processes and tooling for current programs and new product introductions.
• Lead the charge: drive APQP and continuous improvement using the Project Launch Guide and Autocam Production System (APS).
• Make it clear: create accurate process docs, work instructions, and cost standards everyone can use.
• Quote with confidence: price new parts and update customer quotes with precision.
• Build capability: train operators on machine operation, SPC, process improvement, and how to interpret documents.
• Hold tolerance: read complex drawings and apply GD&T to achieve repeatable results.
• Protect the system: maintain compliance with QMS and EMS requirements.

Do You Have...

• An engineering degree (BS) or equivalent technical training plus 2+ years’ experience?
• A problem-solver’s mindset and a passion for continuous improvement?
• Strength in technical documentation, cost estimating, and manufacturing software?
• The ability to translate complex technical info and influence at all levels?
• Hands-on exposure to APQP, GD&T, and lean methodologies?

Where You’ll Work & How

• Flex your time: average around 50 hours per week.
• Split your days between office and manufacturing spaces with typical noise and oil exposure.
• Lift up to 30 lbs; tasks may require both close and distance vision.
