About the Role:
Join the dynamic team at Robert Levy MDPC as a Medical Receptionist in Dearborn, MI. This is an exciting opportunity to be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience in our medical practice.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors with a friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage appointment scheduling and patient registration efficiently.
- Handle phone calls and inquiries, providing accurate information to patients.
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality is upheld.
- Coordinate with medical staff to streamline office operations.
- Process billing and insurance claims accurately.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized front office environment.
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed to support the team.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar role preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using office software and medical management systems.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification is a plus.
