Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all accounting and financial reporting functions to maintain credibility by providing accurate and timely financial data.
• Present financial updates and performance assessments to the organization's leadership and board members.
• Prepare annual budgets and submit them for review and approval.
• Manage cash flow, projections, and budget revisions to align with strategic financial objectives.
• Supervise billing, accounts payable, payroll, and funds disbursement activities.
• Implement internal control policies compliant with GAAP and regulatory laws, ensuring ethical standards are met.
• Perform bank and revenue stream reconciliations across various accounts.
• Manage financial risks related to asset acquisitions and inventory spending.
• Track and record donations, ensuring acknowledgment letters are sent to donors in a timely manner.
• Facilitate domestic and international wire transfers.
• Support departments with software functionality and usage.
• Analyze monthly budget performance and advise accordingly.
• Handle additional tasks related to accounting and financial activities as needed.

• BS/BA in Accounting; CPA and/or MBA preferred but not mandatory
• 5-7 years overall accounting experience with two years’ minimum supervisory experience
• Excellent technical skills in accounting including experience with budgeting, cash flow projections, cost accounting, and payroll
• Government accounting, grant tracking or budget allocations experience preferred.
