As a Security Professional - Mall Patrol - Part Time in Kalamazoo, MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading retail location, you will play an important role in fostering a secure environment for customers and staff. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that may arise. You will also provide outstanding customer service, assisting visitors with inquiries and communicating clearly with both team members and the public. Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri01:00 PM - 12:00 AMSat01:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or conditions to management and/or law enforcement as required.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, and verifying credentials when necessary.
• Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence and reporting suspicious behavior.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members while performing patrol duties.
• Complete required reports and documentation in a timely and accurate manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
