Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A dynamic opportunity is available for a School Psychologist to support K-12 students in Detroit, MI. This contract position is for the full school year and offers a chance to make a meaningful impact on student development and success.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience providing psychological services in K-12 educational settings
- Proficiency in conducting assessments, interpreting results, and developing intervention plans
- Strong knowledge of child development, learning disabilities, and behavioral strategies
- Excellent munication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, parents, and students
Location:
- Detroit, Michigan
Responsibilities:
- Conduct prehensive psychological evaluations to identify student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop individual education programs (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and behavioral support for students facing academic or social challenges
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to support student success and well-being
- Maintain accurate documentation and ply with district and state regulations
