ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Responsible for local pick-ups and deliveries using the company truck.
• Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records.
• Places incoming material, components or parts in parts room, warehouse or storage areas.
• Pulls material, components, or parts for jobs, shop orders, and work orders for all production areas.
• Assembles wood or cardboard containers or selects pre-assembled containers. Nails cover on wooden crates and binds containers with metal tape using strapping machine.
• General housekeeping of area.
• Must be able to communicate effectively, get along with co-workers, and deal with colleagues effectively and professionally.
• A continuous pattern of regular and prompt attendance is required.

Experience

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Certificates & Licenses

Valid Michigan Driver's License and valid CDL endorsement.

Must be able to obtain a DOT medical card.

Ability to pass Hi-Lo Driver Exam and receive a Hi-lo License.

Other Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The
