Job Description:

This role puts you at the helm of managing and maintaining multiple clients' books. You will have the opportunity to showcase your skills in payroll, bookkeeping, and proficiency in QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online. Upholding our core values, you will help us sustain our commitment to providing our clients with clean, accurate books.

Responsibilities:

• Perform monthly account reconciliations, analysis and reporting. May train, assist and/or review work of other Accounting staff. Coordinate and participate in month-end accounting close and annual financial audit. Contribute in identifying and implementing process improvements within the Finance Department.
• Manage and oversee diverse facets of our clients' bookkeeping needs
• Regularly maintain and update QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online systems
• Research and resolve client tax notices
• Produce accurate monthly financial statements
• Collaborate with our team to deliver excellent service to our clients
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all work
• Other work as assigned.
• Cross Train and Backup to various Accounting functions

Requirements:

• Four-year degree in Accounting, or Finance with an Accounting concentration
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on, progressive financial accounting experience required
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online
• Understanding of bookkeeping and tax filing processes
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and clients
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Trustworthy and reliable
• Positive attitude
