Key Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing presses to produce parts according to specifications.
• Perform setup, changeover, and adjustment of presses for various production runs.
• Monitor machine operation and product quality, making necessary adjustments.
• Conduct routine maintenance, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting of press equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
• Load raw materials and unload finished products from presses.

Recommended Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience operating and setting up manufacturing presses (e.g., punch, hydraulic, brake presses).
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and work orders.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic machine adjustments and minor troubleshooting.
• Experience using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, tape measures) for quality control.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Bonus Qualifications

• Forklift certification or experience operating other material handling equipment.
• Basic machining or tool & die repair experience.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen).
• Proficiency with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
