Club Manager of a Sportsman's club responsible for overseeing all operations, ensuring exceptional experiences, financial stability and alignment with the clubs mission.

Overview The Club Manager of the Sportsman's Club is responsible for overseeing all operations, ensuring exceptional experiences, financial stability, and alignment with the club’s mission to promote sportsmanship, outdoor recreation, and community engagement. The Club Manager manages staff, facilities, programs, and strategic initiatives while fostering a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for members, guests, and staff. Key Responsibilities The Club Manager’s duties include: Human Resources and Staff Management  Responsible for recruiting, hiring, terminating, onboarding, and training staff members  Accountable for staff evaluations, compensation decisions, and payroll processes  Responsible for managing schedules, assigning tasks, and supervising staff to ensure operational efficiency Operations  Responsible for ensuring compliance with building, health department, and other regulations, as well as securing certifications (e.g., Food Safe, TAMs, TIPS)  Responsible for reviewing vendor contracts and agreements for compliance and opportunities  Accountable for vendor selection, performance management, and resolving vendor issues Food and Beverage  Accountable for budget, forecasting, and pricing strategies for food and beverage operations Financial Management  Responsible for reviewing financial statements and planning/managing capital expenditures (CapEx)  Accountable for accounts payable processes Membership, Marketing, and Community Engagement  Responsible for supporting Chairman, Board of Directors, and general membership meetings  Responsible for representing the club at local chamber meetings and collaborating with other organizations to generate business and membership  Responsible for tracking and communicating risk management issues  Responsible for building relationships with club members, developing and implementing marketing strategies, promoting club benefits, and managing online presence and social media  Accountable for merchandising pricing strategies Shooting and Armory  Overseeing armory, inventory management, secure storage, and usage/access policy management Qualifications  Experience in business administration, hospitality, sports management, or a related field or equivalent bachelor’s degree  Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to engage with members, staff, and community stakeholders  Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to manage diverse teams  Minimum of 5 years of management experience, preferably in a club, recreational, or hospitality setting  Knowledge of sportsman activities (e.g., shooting sports, hunting, fishing) is highly desirable  Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting  Familiarity with safety regulations, particularly related to firearms, gaming, and alcohol  Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment  Proficiency with software applications related to financial management, scheduling, and marketing

Working Conditions  Full-time position with occasional evening and weekend work to accommodate events and member activities  Work involves both office-based tasks and on-site oversight of facilities, ranges, and events  Must be able to handle physical tasks related to facility inspections and event setups as needed Application Process Interested candidates should submit a resume and cover letter to the [email protected].
