Wire Transfer Operator II

: Wire Transfer Operator II The Wire Transfer Operator II is primarily responsible for processing customer payment orders for domestic and international incoming and outgoing wire transfers received via telephone, Treasury Management channels, Paypoint, the Federal Reserve and SWIFT. This position successfully performs all functions for Domestic and International USD and Foreign Currency incoming and outgoing payments. Under general supervision, processes incoming wire transfers, performs data entry, routes US Dollar and Foreign Currency payments, clears exceptions and confirms outgoing transactions. The position is responsible for customer service requests including telephone notifications and inquiries from customer and business units. Adheres to all department security procedures, compliance, service quality and production standards. Position Responsibilities:

• Enter, process and route USD and foreign currency incoming and outgoing wire transfers from internal/external customers via telephone and Treasury Management products.
• Obtain confirmation, verification, or approval of funds from authorized representatives before processing and releasing domestic and international wire transactions.
• Process International incoming wire transfers to the appropriate account for internal/external customers.
• Accurately respond to domestic and international wire transfer customer service requests from customers and business units.
• Process phone notifications to internal/external customers of incoming/outgoing wire transfers.
• Perform other duties assigned by Supervisor.
• Adhere to all department security procedures, compliance, service quality and production standards.

Position Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (G.E.D)
• 2 years of wire production experience
• 2 years of customer service experience
• 2 years of experience working with Microsoft Office, specifically MS Excel, MS Word, Power Point, and Visio
