Senior Tax Analyst

Overview:
Our client, a global manufacturer, is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst to support U.S. income tax accounting and reporting functions. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze quarterly and annual U.S. income tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740 and international reporting standards.

• Review deferred tax calculations, effective tax rate analyses, return-to-provision reconciliations, and valuation allowances.

• Support global tax reporting by consolidating and communicating U.S. provision data for corporate reporting.

• Maintain accurate documentation of tax attributes including net operating losses, tax credits, and Section 163(j) carryforwards.

• Prepare and review international tax computations such as GILTI, FDII, and BEAT for provision and budgeting purposes.

• Collaborate with external advisors and internal finance teams to ensure alignment between provision and compliance processes.

• Monitor and interpret U.S. tax law changes and assess their impact on accounting and reporting.

• Assist with tax-related disclosures for financial statements and global reporting packages.

• Contribute to tax forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning for cash taxes and expense management.

• Participate in audits , providing documentation and technical guidance as needed.

• Identify and implement process improvements and automation initiatives utilizing ONESOURCE, SAP, and related technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Master’s in Taxation or CPA preferred).

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in U.S. income tax provision and compliance—experience in a multinational environment or public accounting is preferred.

• Strong technical expertise in ASC 740, U.S. federal and state tax regulations, and corporate tax reporting.

• Proficiency with ONESOURCE Tax Provision and SAP is highly desirable.

• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
