Job Summary
Are you an energetic leader with a passion for transforming dining experiences? We’re seeking a dynamic Director of Dining Services to lead our team in delivering exceptional service and unforgettable culinary moments for a K12 school district in the Muskegon, MI area. In this pivotal role, you’ll shape the future of school dining through strategic planning, operational excellence, and team development. Reporting to the Area Director, you’ll build a strong, cohesive team while cultivating meaningful relationships with clients, students, and the community. Your interpersonal skills will drive client satisfaction, boost student engagement, and help create a vibrant, welcoming dining environment that students look forward to every day. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and inspire our team of frontline associates.
- Drive critical initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and increase profitability.
- Recruit, train, and develop top talent within the organization.
- Lead the annual budget and control costs efficiently.
- Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Build strong relationships with clients, customers, and associates.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Food Services Management/Hospitality/Culinary or Nutrition or equivalent experience.**
- Three plus years of foodservice management experience.
- Strong knowledge of high-volume food production and (catering trends) is preferred.
- Previous P&L accountability or contract-managed services experience.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in computer skills.
