ECU Software Flashing Deployment Lead - Manufacturing Engineering

General Motors
Warren, MI

Description

Global Manufacturing Electrical & SDV is looking for innovators who thrive in tough challenges and are passionate about tackling meaningful work that will shape the future of the automotive industry. This isn’t a role for those looking for an easy path—it’s for those who embrace change, push through obstacles, and take ownership of complex problems. While there will be long days and moments that test your resilience, you’ll find purpose in your work, flexibility to prioritize your family, and the support of a people-first culture. If you’re ready to grow, thrive, and make a real impact, we’d love to hear from you.

WHY: Reduce vehicle yard holds and improve product quality by executing ECU software deployment at scale—ensuring correct software versions are applied at the right time across GM manufacturing sites.

WHAT: Lead on-site deployment of ECU flashing solutions across manufacturing plants—setting up reflash environments, coordinating teams, and ensuring successful execution of software updates in production and yard environments.

HOW: Operate in a hands-on, field-based role—deploying ECU flashing solutions across plants, leading contractor teams, troubleshooting issues in real time, and working directly with engineering and manufacturing partners to ensure reliable, repeatable execution under production conditions.

This role is best suited for individuals who thrive in hands-on, field-based environments—supporting manufacturing plants, leading deployment activities, and solving electrical and software challenges directly on the floor.
