We are seeking a dedicated Wound Care Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for wound care management and providing high-quality patient care in various healthcare settings.

Our high standards extend to providing both excellent patient care/outcomes as well as outstanding communication/collaboration with other members of the patient healthcare team such as primary care and home health.

This position will provide Mobile Wound Care in Grand Rapids and surrounding areas.

· Assessing, planning, and implementing wound care for patients

· Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans

· Utilizing advanced wound care techniques and technologies

· Educating patients and families on wound care management

· Monitoring and documenting wound healing progress

· Providing support and guidance to nursing staff on wound care best practices

· Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities

· Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care

· Experience working in infectious disease, hospital setting, nursing homes or primary care is a plus

Qualifications:

Requirements

· Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing

· Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Michigan

· Certification in Wound Care Management (WCC) is preferred but not required

· Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner

· Experience and interest in wound assessment and debridement. *Training provided

· Ability to build rapport with patients

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Strong leadership qualities
