Job Summary:
We are seeking a versatile and technically skilled Senior Software Developer to lead the development and support of our messaging platforms—Airship and Mailgun—while also contributing to the evolution of our custom application ecosystem. Ideal candidates will have experience with Marketing Technology and third-party delivery platforms as well as familiarity with full stack development and the desire to flex into custom applications. As our complex infrastructure grows it’s expected this role will scale with our platforms
Job Specifications:
- Starting Wage: $100,000 - $135,000
- Employment Type: Year Round
- Shift Type: Full Time hours available

Job Responsibilities:
- Platform Ownership:
- Serve as the primary technical owner for Airship and Mailgun, ensuring reliable delivery, integration, and performance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize messaging strategies and platform capabilities.
- Establish, maintain, and own vendor relationships
- Custom Application Development:
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack application features that support internal tools and workflows.
- Partner with program, marketing, and development teams to deliver intuitive, scalable solutions.
- Technical Leadership:
- Provide architectural guidance and best practices across messaging and custom app domains.
- Contribute to code reviews, technical documentation, and knowledge sharing.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with PM, BA, QA, and other engineering teams to ensure seamless deployment and monitoring.
- Engage with business stakeholders to understand evolving needs and translate them into technical solutions
Job Requirements:
- 3+ years working with Marketing Technology
- 2+ years experience with messaging platforms such as Airship, Mailgun, or similar.
- 2+ years experience working with Agile & Waterfall Development Methodologies
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate development processes and results
- Experience working with custom applications.
- Proficiency in full-stack development (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, React, Python).
Preferred :
- Bachelor's degree in technical or business discipline or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- 3+ years full stack experience
- 3+ years JavaScript
- TypeScript
- Experience with CSS and email HTML
- Experience building front end interfaces.
- NodeJS
- Hapi or other NodeJS server frameworks
- Vue2 or familiarity with reactive front-end frameworks
- Experience building APIs and integrating APIs managed by others.
- 3+ years container app instances in Azure.
- Experience working with micro service technologies
The expected Total Compensation for this role is $100,000 - $135,000. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
