Production Operator
Join our team as a Production Operator where you will ensure the accuracy and precision of automotive parts. Your primary role will involve checking parts, specifically making sure that drilled holes are the correct size and distance from the end of the part using a tape measure.
Responsibilities- Check and measure parts to ensure drilled holes are the right size and distance.
- Use a tape measure accurately, including reading fractions.
- Perform general labor tasks including inspection, quality control, and assembly.
- Conduct visual inspection and packaging of parts.
- Operate hand tools, machine tools, and power tools as required.
- Assist in various departments as needed, including manual machining and forklift operation.
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure and understand fractions.
- Prior manufacturing experience, preferably in a role that requires standing for extended periods.
- Experience with production, inspection, quality control, and assembly.
- Proficiency in using calipers, blueprints, and micrometers.
- Capability to operate machinery and forklifts.
- Experience with general production tasks.
- Familiarity with visual inspection techniques.
- Knowledge of packaging processes.

Work EnvironmentWork in a dynamic, non-climate controlled facility which can be warm during the summer months. Steel-toed boots are required. Experience a friendly atmosphere with the opportunity to work across three different buildings, primarily in the main building. The work hours vary by department and shift, providing flexibility to fit your schedule.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brighton, MI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.50 - $18.50/hr.
