What You’ll Do

New Paradigm for Education is seeking a friendly and reliable Part-Time Lunch Room Attendant to join our lunchroom team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to students and staff during lunch hours and ensuring a smooth and efficient operation of the lunchroom. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to creating a positive dining experience.

Job Requirements:

Must be available between 7:15 a.m. - 1:45 p.m.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a lunch room attendant or customer service role is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Basic math skills and familiarity with cash handling procedures.
• Commitment to providing a positive experience for students and staff.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Greet students and staff warmly, providing friendly and efficient service during lunch periods.

• Distribute and keep count of meals, both in classrooms and in the cafeteria, and swipe student cards.

• Maintain knowledge of menu items, assisting students with questions and promoting healthy meal options.

• Monitor and restock supplies as needed, ensuring that the lunchroom is well-organized and adequately stocked for service.

• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

• Assist with cleaning tables and dining areas as needed.

• Work closely with kitchen staff and other lunchroom personnel to ensure a smooth and coordinated lunch service.
