Lead Teacher Preschool
Status : Regular, full-time
Schedule : Monday – Friday 6:45am-3:45pm
Pay Range : $14-$20/hour ( based on certification or degree and years of experience ) Qualifications :
- Minimum of CDA certificate or working toward a degree in Early Childhood Education(ECE) or related field.
- Bachelor’s or associate degree in early childhood education, child development or child-related field preferred
- Minimum of one year experience in ECE in a Preschool classroom required
- CPR Certification
- Willing to pursue higher education in accordance with NAEYC and Michigan Child Care Licensing guidelines for ECE Teachers

- Ensures overall safety of children
- Develop and implement daily lesson plans based on individual student’s needs and interests
- Implement HighScope curriculum, philosophy, and assessment tools
- Conduct Parent Teacher conferences
- Comply with licensing rules, regulations, and procedures
- Attend Heartfelt Impressions company/school meetings
- Partner with parents and assist students regarding “Toilet Learning” approaches
- Participate in snack and meal service Family Style Dining
- Ensure cleaning tasks are completed
- Ensure the classroom is engaging and developmentally age appropriate
