Position Purpose

Vibe Credit Union is seeking a dependable and hardworking Part Time Facilities Support Specialist to join our Facilities Management team. This position plays a key role in supporting the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of our buildings, grounds, and equipment to ensure a safe, clean, and functional environment for staff and members.

Essential Duties

• Perform routine maintenance tasks including cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and trash removal
• Assist in minor repairs such as painting, patching walls, replacing light bulbs, and assembling / moving furniture
• Support landscaping and groundskeeping activities including mowing, raking, snow removal, and general outdoor upkeep
• Set up and tear down rooms for meetings, events, and other scheduled activities
• Assist maintenance technicians and tradespeople as needed
• Operate hand and power tools safely and responsibly
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment; notify supervisor of low stock
• Follow all safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests as directed

  Education/Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Basic understanding of computers, smartphones, email.
• Previous labor, maintenance, or custodial experience preferred

  Skills/Abilities

• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power equipment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor for extended periods
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Work both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
• Requires frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and manual labor
