Facilities Manager | Wyoming, MI
Salary Range: $86,000 - $132,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of facility maintenance, including preventative and reactive repairs for equipment and infrastructure.
- Ensure strict compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and building regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA).
- Manage facility budgets, including capital expenditures, operational costs, and utility expenses.
- Coordinate and supervise external contractors and service providers for facility projects and services.
- Optimize facility layouts and space utilization to enhance manufacturing efficiency and workflow.
- Develop and implement emergency preparedness and business continuity plans for the manufacturing site.
- Manage utility services and infrastructure (HVAC, power, water, compressed air) to ensure uninterrupted production.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities management within a high-volume manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing building maintenance systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and utility infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA) pertinent to manufacturing operations.
- Experience with capital project management, budgeting, and negotiation of vendor contracts.
- Leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing facilities teams and external contractors.
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related technical field; professional certification (e.g., CFM, FMP) preferred.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience utilizing a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent advanced safety training.
- Demonstrated experience with energy management systems or sustainability initiatives.
- Proficiency with CAD software for facility layouts and space planning.
